MAKING KNIVES IS PART OF OUR HISTORY
The history of Pius Lang brand started on a very cold Christmas Eve of 24th, December, 1852, as knife maker Pius Lang from the German town of Stetten founded the famous knife manufacturer near Tuttlingen, Germany.
Our knives were first presented at the Paris World Exposition in 1889, with most famous 100 blades Pius Lang folding knife.
The successful family dynasty continued in the second generation with Sigmund Lang.
His son Pius Lang II carried on and further developed the company within the bounds of the old tradition.
In the fourth generation, Walter Lang set the stage for global distribution of its products and technological advancement of the company, all while maintaining family tradition.

Walter Lang's son, Surgical Mechanic Master Gerald Lang, learned the craft of manual knife-making from his father and launched production of kitchen knives in 2018, under the Lang Messer brand.
Today, we produce our knives with the same zeal and care as our surgical instruments.

Expertly crafted in Germany since 1852; designed by the 5th generation of Knife Master Craftsmen (“Handwerksmeister Messer”). The knife manufacturer has since been run as a family business and a hereditary dynasty at the same time, becoming one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the Tuttlingen region.

Heavy full tang forged 8-inch (20cm) German 1.4116 Stainless steel Blade, stain resistant, tough and strong against rust and corrosion as well as a high alloy steel. Easier to sharpen. If you can't stand the bother of maintaining your knives this is a good choice.

The Lang full tang knife made by German Stainless Steel 1.4116 with sturdy blade thickness of 2.5/2.7mm and elite design. Due to its precision forging and Ice-Hardening process, the metal is quenched in sub-zero temperatures to draw out the hardness of refined steel. It's triple riveted handle ensures durabillity.
